The Diagnosis and Treatment of Pulmonary Hypertension is divided into brace main sections.

The Diagnosis and Treatment of Pulmonary Hypertension is divided into brace main sections, the diagnosis and treatment. The diagnosis section consists of seven chapters from the early diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension to the wave reflections in pulmonary hypertension. This section also includes the clinical importance of right ventricular function in pulmonary hypertension as well as altered left ventricular function in pulmonary hypertension. It also discusses whether the early diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension is possible, useful, or expense effective. Noninvasive studies like the reflected sound measurement of pressure are also discussed. In addition to the above, the early diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension in the fetus, neonate, and infant as well as endothelial function studies are discussed. The next to the first part of the book relates to treating the pulmonary hypertension, one time diagnosed. Fourteen chapters are in this section. These range from treating pulmonary hypertension to obliterative bronchiolitis of the transplanted lung The authors also discuss ECMO implications for treatment with have a high opinion of to pathophysiology, pulmonary hypertension secondary to systemic sclerosis, as well as the character of pulmonary hypertension in high altitude pulmonary edema. There are many other chapters too numerous to mention. Surgical treatment, ie, pulmonary thromboendarterectomy as well as lung transplantation are discussed.

I was impressed with this work The chapters are well written. There are abundance of tables and figures as well as well-reproduced pictures that adequately deficit the text. This work is extremely comprehensive. Each of the couple main sections has the first chapter entitled "An Introduction to Diagnosis or Treating Pulmonary Hypertension." these are exceptional chapters reviewing the entire volume This book discusses mostly of the current literature as well as more or less of the controversies. The take away from is only $69.00, which I think is well worthwhile. I would praise this book to all pulmonologists and others who are involved in diagnosing and treating this real serious and interesting disease.
